Rachel Turdo is from and currently lives in Binghamton, NY.

She earned a BFA in Visual Communications from Cazenovia College – a small school tucked away in the hills of Upstate NY. Since graduating, Rachel works at Zappia Athletic Products, a custom screen print shop in her hometown, where her focus is on marketing and design.

In her spare time, Rachel runs her side business – Fringe & Stitches – making hand knit wall hangings and promoting them on social media, and she creates designs to be shared on Creative Correspondence (@creative.correspondence), an on-going collaborative Instagram account with a friend.

I am a collector.
I collect ideas, visuals, experiences.
As a designer, I pick through all of these things
and combine them to create something new.
I am not afraid of incorporating the unexpected.
I approach my work with a dedication to concept and craft.
And most of the time caffeine.
I embrace imperfections as charm
and a sign of my hand in my work.
I like collages, neutral colors, and textures.
I am always looking to broaden my design capabilities,
and hone in on whatever a project demands.
